About who needs care: He gets around with a walker fine and does his own bathroom stuff. He can make sandwiches and heat up soup, but needs help with shopping and healthy meal preparation. He needs help showering every other day or so (mostly just being near by and steading as he goes in and out, he can do the actual cleaning). Help with laundry once a week and some social time. loves sports, esp baseball and football. He loves to play cirbbage and other card games. He enjoys getting a lotto ticket once in a while. He loves to visit with people and hear their stories. He talks to his friends a lot on the phone and they visit him also. He has a heart condition and kidney problems but not diabetes and no catheter or colostomy stuff. He recently hurt his IT band so his mobility is not great and that's why he's needing help. About the care needs: Someone that enjoys chatting and being social - he loves hearing stories about others lives and sharing his own. loves someone with a sense of humor - he likes to make jokes and enjoys when people share jokes with him. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
