About who needs care: Minor to moderate cognitive decline. Currently just recovered from a fractured pelvis. Takes daily medication for high blood pressure and liver function. She is from the Philippines, has no biological children, no family in the area. Pretty religious. Likes to keep her house neat. Reads. Watches TV. About the care needs: Looking for female to help her with bathing, etc. She is very modest. Should be cheerful and patient. Client is small, 90 pounds. Should be able to assist her if needed. Be able to drive client to medical appointments and to shopping as needed. Need help with laundry, which is in the basement. Stairs are difficult for client. Should help with light housekeeping, like vacuuming. Need help in the morning getting her off to a good start, taking medications, putting her hearing aids in, wearing her fall alert necklace. Help with showering if needed, in the morning or night, depending on her schedule. Help at night with dinner and getting settled for bed. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
