Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Portland

About who needs care: My mother is in Hospice. She requires 24 hour care. She has overnight caregivers and family members help her during the day. We need someone from approximately 5 to 10 p.m. each weekday. She currently uses a walker to get to and from the bathroom, where she needs assistance. She also needs assistance getting to the kitchen for her evening meal - we can prepare this each day, so there would be very minimal cooking and no housework. She spends the majority of time in her hospital bed. There are some medications prescribed. About the care needs: My mother would only feel comfortable with a female caregiver. Someone patient and kind. She sleeps/rests a lot, so wont need constant attention - just getting up and visiting the restroom mainly, where she does require assistance. We are looking for someone who is flexible, time wise,. This is because our night caregivers schedules are not fixed. (arriving at different times depending on the day) We would try to have each week set up in advance to accommodate the evening caregiver. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
