About who needs care: On hospice. Immobile. Can't hear. In wheelchair. Some dementia, progressing. Daytime activity varies. Enjoys movies on television. Sitting in the sun. Good appetite. About the care needs: Patience is critical with the dementia. Mother can lash out verbally. Often confused about if she is at home. Incontinence varies. We have a team of caregivers who each take scheduled shifts. Shifts are 12 hours (7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7am). We are looking for some new people to cover holes in the schedule made by people moving. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and moving between bed and wheelchair. NOTE: There are many steps to go up/down during the shift.
