My father (78) is blind (macular degeneration-dry). He has bone on bone arthritis in both shoulders & usually walks with at least 1 cane. He has COPD, emphysema, has stage 3B kidney disease and generally experiences extreme pain on a daily basis. He had 2 stents placed in his heart in June and is now quite frail. He also suffers from anxiety. My mother (84) lives with him and has her own health concerns that she is mostly able to navigate on her own. Caregiver for my dad needs to be chill, calm, patient. He smokes cigarettes & they have a sweet indoor/outdoor cat (not your responsibility in any way). He responds significantly better to male caregivers. We are looking for an additional member of our care team for Mon, Thu & Sat afternoons and overnights from 2:30p-7:30a, until 9a on Sunday. Shifts can absolutely be split if needed.
