Companion Care Needed For My Father In Portland

About who needs care: He is nearly fully blind but still reasonably capable of living on his own. He only needs help with housekeeping, occasional appointments/errands, and minor tasks that require a person with sight like refilling his pill cases. He has family in the area that can sometimes act as a back-up when the person we're seeking to hire is sick, on vacation, etc. About the care needs: He is open minded about age, ethnicity, sexual orientation/gender, and religious beliefs. He lives alone. So, his caregiver would need to stay mindful of his blindness which often requires that critical items be placed back roughly to their original positions so that he may find them when no others are present. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
