About the job
I need senior care provider with experience dealing with Alzheimer's. My mother needs prompting/assisting for her physical therapy exercises, taking her to facility activities, and making sure she is set up for her day. She has low mobility and health issues. She can be combative, but also humorous. A caregiver should be skilled in redirecting her and helping her with stimulating activities. She lives with my father in an assisted living facility and needs a higher level of care that only one- on -one care can provide for part of her day. Her facility dresses, bathes, and helps her with medication. This is a part time position (3-4 hours per day) and can be flexible from 3-5 days a week.
