About the job
We are looking for a Sunday caregiver for our elderly mother; and possibly fill in other times. My mother is relatively healthy (one medication), but does require assistance with mobility transfers, sponge baths, dressing and toileting. She weighs 115 lbs and depends on the caregiver to transfer her from bed to wheelchair, to toilet, to sofa. It is our primary concern as she broke a femur a few years ago and can no longer walk on her own. She is friendly, although tends to forget. We have our caregivers talk with her and provide information/prompts throughout the day. Caregivers prepare meals, and light clean up. Position is for Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. We pay $23/hour and are located in Multnomah Village (SW Portland). If interested please contact me
