About who needs care: Mom on hospice, needs help to use commode by bed in room and to stabilize to get into wheelchair and back into bed. She can get up but is a fall risk so needs someone there to help. Needs meals and housework, help with reminders to take pills, does not need to administer meds but needs to be able to remind. Mom is an extrovert and likes someone to be there, has anxiety and a harder time making decisions so someone who is empathetic but can help encourage her to get out of bed without being demanding would be great About the care needs: Someone who is familiar with cooking for vegetarians, someone who is proactive and doesn't need to be told what to do every second. Someone who is kind and respectful but will help to be encouraging and upbeat. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
