About the job
I need a care provider with experience for a man in his 50's who has a spinal cord injury and is currently recovering from a shoulder replacement. Our care concerns are: Mobility, Medication Prompting, Light Housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Companionship. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. We're looking for some help in heating up and serving meals or preparing light snacks. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. I am looking for someone to provide a few respite hours for me each week. Schedule can be flexible. Most medical related tasks will be completed by the time you arrive, but there may be a few things that come up; emptying urinal, some help with repositioning in bed and operating hoyer lift if he wants to get up.
