I need a companion care provider with Alzheimer's / Dementia experience for my husband in his 80s. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Preferences is for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. He is totally independent but I worry about him being alone when I need to do errands. In the past, he has had episodes of vertigo. He loves his small dog & takes her for neighborhood walks. He is in the early stages of Dementia & needs help to change TV channels, help with his phone, etc. He does not read but likes to do skill building workbooks.
