Hiring Weekend Relief Caregivers My name is Teresa, and I am looking for a relief weekend caretaker for my 78-year-old father Jim. I am open to hiring for both daytime weekend shift coverage and overnight weekend shifts. I am wanting to have a list of people that I can call on/rotate as I provide some coverage on weekends as well. We need relief care for our M-F live-in caregiver. I am dad's 53-year-old daughter who currently lives at the house part-time. I am looking for someone who is kind and compassionate but can also push back on dad when needed as he can be very head strong and needs a coach to help keep him stay on track. Dad has a lot of health complexities, including diabetes, constipation, COPD, asthma, limited mobility, dentures and a heart valve replacement in Dec 23. Dad takes about 25 meds/OTC pills a day.
