About the job
We are looking for someone to help with the care of my mother and father in the Pine Grove area of Hood River. Ideally, someone who wants to provide socialization and fun for folks who have lived big, adventurous lives but are needing more support as they age. Part of your responsibilities will include taking them to Senior Center exercise class, grabbing groceries with them, exploring fun nooks and crannies in the Gorge. Lots of opportunity to enjoy watching home movies of their many (completely crazy) trips! Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with a cat and a pup. Flexible schedule, but approximately 15-20 hours a week seems about right for now.
