We have some weekend shifts (day and/or night) opening up and are looking to hire someone to care for my mom, who is in her 80's but mentally, sharp as a tack. My mom has been bed bound 24/7 since an accident back in March, with more setbacks than I can count, but we are now starting to see a lot of progress. And while we no longer need 24/7 care, we still need day and night care. Right now we use a Hoyer to get her in her wheelchair so she can go to lunch with her friends :). However, she is not yet able to get to the bathroom on her own, so she is still using briefs for now. We are working hard to get her back to a better quality of life. Duties would include brief changes, some meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, etc. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained.
