Companion Care Needed For My Father In Eugene

About the job

I'm looking for companion care for my father who is 86. Medication management is required. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. My Dad doesn't have Alzheimer's, but does get confused at times. He had Diabetes and will need some help with wound care on his feet. He's pretty easy-going and sleeps a lot. He also has a tendency to fall, so needs reminders to use his cane, and not walk while carrying things in both hands. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. My Dad loves sports! We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
