About who needs care: My father is a friendly man who just needs help with running errands like going to the grocery store, doing laundry and would just like some companionship. He has increasing short term memory issues so is unable to drive and has been getting weaker so is slow to move. He just moved from Gold Beach where he was forgetting to take his medications, eat and was minimally showering because he was scared to fall. He is able to shower independently but wants to do it with someone in the house. I live approx. 1 hour away and with my work schedule am able to visit him 1-2 times per week. About the care needs: Someone social that has patience. He asks the same questions often and is slow when walking around. He is very friendly but does need reminders. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
