About who needs care: She doesn't like people around She watches tv or reads on the back porch She smokes outside She has a few glasses of wine after 4:00 (3:00 sometimes) She resists showering and changing her clothes, but I usually work on that. She likes steak sandwiches with lots of butter, hamburgers and shakes, pfchangs wonton soup, and panko shrimp and butter rice. She likes fruit and cheese, sliced cucumbers, carrots. She doesn't eat very much. She says no a lot. She naps a lot. She takes nifedipine (2) if her BP top number is 120 or over, and eye drops. She likes hot tea with honey or sugar in the afternoon with a small snack. About the care needs: Someone who doesn't feel they have to entertain her. They need to make sure they leave food even if she says no because she will say no, then be hungry and then will eat what's in front of her. She calls it grazing when she feels like it. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
