About who needs care: Rick has chronic acid reflux (has a prescription), sensitivities to dairy but still, needs more veggies and less sugar in his diet. He doesn't know how to cook for himself bc his late wife did all the cooking. Going on three years without her. My father is neurodivergent and has a lot of anxiety around people he doesn't t know. He also has bouts of depression since his wife passed. Sweet and sensitive. He can be very funny when he feels comfortable. About the care needs: Non-religious, non- republican, patient and calm. Not a big talker/ Someone who isnt going to preach to him about what he should or shouldnt eat. A good listener with a sense of humor. Grounding and down to earth. A realist. Someone who understands hippie culture. Not tech minded (technology stresses him out). Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
