About who needs care: Elderly woman living alone. 77 years old. Im her only son but live 2 hours away. Mobility is limited. I dont trust her driving at this point. She needs a check in a few days a week. Help with errands, Dr appointments, food, etc. About the care needs: She has high blood pressure. Smoker. Die hard democrat. Hates Trump. I mention that because she cant help herself but to talk about politics. She can be cheerful but also cranky sometimes. Requires a little patience at times. Signs of developing dimentia. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
