The ideal candidate would spend quality time with him, engage him in enjoyable activities, and keep him entertained - watching sports is one of his favorite pastimes. This role also involves acting as his advocate, closely observing the care provided by the facility, and regularly updating the family on any notable issues or care gaps to ensure his well-being. About the care needs: The ideal candidate should have experience working with dementia and stroke patients and, ideally, an interest in sports.
