About who needs care: My father has mobility issues and will need assistance beginning his day. He needs assistance getting into the shower, possibly needs help reaching areas of his body to wash. Recommended for him to have commode next to bed for using at night, so that may need cleaned in the morning. As well there has been some issues being incontinent at night, so possibly needs help changing and washing sheets. May need help with meals and beverages. He is in the early stages of Dementia, currently it only affects memory, we have not seen it affect his mood or anything like that. He really just needs help getting his day going while family members at work. About the care needs: My father is about 6' tall and about 190 lbs so he is not small. He has had issues in the past with falls, so it might be helpful if they are trained or large enough to help him off the ground. As far as hobbies go he likes sports and politics. But my father is friendly and can get along with most people. I think a male would be preferred but I'm sure he'd be just fine with a female caregiver. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
