About who needs care: My mother has dementia and hearing loss and my father is her only caregiver. She is a retired English teacher and loves literature, sewing, cross stitching, and genealogy. I would need for someone to check on her during the week, maybe make my parents lunch, or just give my dad a little time for himself. About the care needs: Must speak clear and fluent English, she was an English teacher so bad grammar makes her cringe LOL Her memory loss is getting worse and she feels she is a burden to her family. She loves sewing and cross stitching. She doesn't read as much as she used to, she always loved a good mystery. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
