About who needs care: My mother is obese and bedridden and being cared for by my father. He just needs occasional breaks. She doesn't require lifting, for starters she mainly just needs companionship and drinks/snacks. This may change if she becomes comfortable with the caretaker. About the care needs: Someone chatty and willing to listen to stories. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
