About who needs care: Seizures. This is purely for a 10 minute life check every morning at around 8 a.m. He will still be living alone or 6 months and refuses to go to the hospital when he has a seizure. We want to make sure that when he has a seizure he goes to the hospital. So the only responsibility is to stop by, say hi, and make sure he didn't have a seizure overnight or the day before. And if he did have one, to notify his children and call 911 (or watch him get to the hospital). My Grandpa is very charismatic and loves telling stories and is really special to be around. But this is a new disease for him and he's still in the denial stage. About the care needs: Either someone young and bubbly or someone with some years behind them and some cool and/or crazy life stories that would be interested in getting to know an awesome grandpa who used to be an army green beret and then USA black ops during the Vietnam war, and then had a life out of a movie afterward. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
