About whom needs care: Our 81-year-old mom is at home on hospice for terminal ovarian cancer. She lives at home with my father. Our mom is a bubbly-talkative person who enjoys people. She has two very involved daughters that are at the home daily often after work. She is mainly bed-bound with some limited mobility to move to a chair or wheelchair using a Hoyer lift, the ability to assist a minimally mobile person is necessary. About the care needs: She is wearing adult diapers with a foley. She will need to be changed 1 or 2 times per shift. She needs help getting dressed, bathing, meal preparation, feeding etc. There is some light housework, washing her laundry (sheets, towels, clothes), straightening up her room, and loading/ unloading dishwasher.
