Caregiver W/ Dementia Experience (Luckey, OH)

I am looking for a caregiver to help with my elderly father that has dementia and is getting progressively worse. He is 91 and lives in Luckey, Ohio I am looking for someone to keep him company - help him get ready (he can dress/undress himself) just needs reminding to do so, eat with him and provide company (watch tv - sit outside- do puzzles etc) he also needs some light regular housekeeping. He enjoys watching western movies, doing puzzles, and loves having his French bulldog close by. The dog is very low maintenance and friendly. Typical Day: Wake up Help get dressed Eat/take medications Watch tv/sit outside Lunch or a snack (depending on breakfast sometimes he just eats a snack and drinks an ensure. Dinner time is when he starts getting a little irritated from sundowning so making sure that dinner is routine and that he takes evening meds is important. He won't eat by himself. Get ready for bed and relax Interests: Reading the Bible or having it read to him Watching westerns Watching News Sitting outside on back porch Puzzles Spending time w dog (French Bulldog - very friendly/lazy) Preferred Skills: Experience with dementia/alzheimers (sundowning) Patience and not easily offended (he sometimes gets in a mood and says mean stuff he more so gets scared of being placed in a home and will get agitated.
