About the job
About who needs care: He has a brain tumor which has effected his left side, it is very weak and he would need help getting to the bathroom or up out of chairs. He would need help in the bathroom because of not being stable on his feet. I use a transport chair to get him around. He is able to feed himself. He does sleep a lot. His days consist of basically eating and sleeping. He doesn't care to watch TV or anything where he has to see well because he has lost his left peripheral vision. He is very pleasant and quiet. About the care needs: Someone who doesn't mind one sided conversation. He has never been real talker but if you ask him questions, he will answer you pretty well. He did a lot of backpacking and hiking in the US and a trip to Switzerland and Hawaii. He doesn't have a very good short-term memory but remembers his hiking trips. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
