About who needs care: **UPDATE-original post Tues, 01/07** 49-yr-old woman & 17-yr-old travel companion in URGENT need of single ride to doctor's appointment TODAY. *WILL CONSIDER PAYING FOR GAS + HOURLY RATE** I usually drive myself, but car has flat tire & I'm awaiting arrival & installation of new tire. I tried rescheduling this appt, giving my provider (of 17 years) 48-hr advance notice, to no avail. I'm a disabled single mom of one teenage daughter. We live on my fixed income , and due to the trip length, /aren't financially feasible options (50 miles RT) and my insurance requires 2 days advance notice to provide a ride.
