Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Dayton

About who needs care: 64-year-old female with mid-late stage ALS that requires moderate -maximum assistance with walking (5-10 ft only), transfers to and from wheelchair/sitting surfaces, toileting, bathing, dressing, etc. More extended care/needs will be needed in future however at this time we are looking for an experienced aid who could assist with these services and light household chores during the morning hours (8-11) . The client has limited ability to communicate verbally however has access to a communication device and family member will be present during these hours. About the care needs: Engaging/outgoing personality but candidate should be patient and adaptable due to the rapid change in function of the client. Caregiver should feel comfortable with heavy lifting/bed mobility and experience with tube feedings in particular. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
