About the job
About who needs care: He has CADASIL. Multiple strokes. Impaired gait, impaired speech, reduction in short term memory. Dementia beginning. Slow reactions. Not driving. Incontinence issues. But still likes to go to the gym. Need someone who can take him to the gym 3 mornings per week. We are members of a club. He reads with device which enlarges the print and puts spaces between the lines. He would benefit from easy board game/ card game play and conversation. About the care needs: Someone who likes to talk history or current events would be ideal. Charles' long term memory is not really affected. He is a veteran so someone who had that in common would be good. The caregiver should be able to drive him to the gym and maybe other errands. Services needed include: transportation.
