About who needs care: Ive been diagnosed with MND (being treated for ALS). My condition will continue to deteriorate and I will eventually need daily care. Im hoping to stay in my home but there may be a time I will need more. At this time I can still walk short distances but will soon need to use my wheelchair exclusively. I enjoy reading, playing board games, puzzles and at present, trying to paint. About the care needs: I would like a kind, pleasant and non-smoking individual with some nursing experience. As my disease progresses, I will need more and more medical care. A pic line and a port could be in my future so, knowledge of care there would be helpful. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
