About who needs care: Moderate cognitive decline due to dementia. Very solid physical health, no balance or mobility issues. Primarily looking for assistance with light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication monitoring (she is fine to prepare/take on her own, but want someone making sure shes taking consistently), and transportation for occasional errands & entertainment (grocery, nail salon, ) to help prevent driving. About the care needs: Consistent, pleasant, funny. Patience is a must as she will likely ask same questions and comments, and has also historically been very independent & private, so at least initially with someone regularly popping in. However, shes recently expressed desire for help with some of the things referenced, so may end up being delighted! No specific skills needed, she doesn't require any kind of physical assistance or highly skilled support. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
