About who needs care: Recently widowed. Still drives, takes care of hygiene and takes meds. Has lost appetite so needs some meal prep and prompting to eat. Some company during afternoon. About the care needs: Likes to stay busy good work ethic Comfortable with silence/doesnt natter. But can sit and visit at times. Dad is generally a loner and mom did all the talking and socializing. Think he misses having some action around him - not that he necessarily needs to be a part of it! Very involved family so would need to be comfortable with having family pop in and out. Flexible - once gets to know dad can suggest good things for him to do, places to go someone to help us develop a good routine for Dad. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
