About who needs care: My Father suffers from anxiety. In 2016 he had a stroke, recovered pretty well. He can take care of himself but has some indecisiveness, socializing, and panic attacks. He enjoys exercise, card games, movies, tv shows, fishing, swimming, walking his dog, etc. He has a medium size dog in home. Looking for someone who can play cards/board games with him. Also, get him up and moving out of the house when his anxiety hits. Someone who can keep his mind off his health and redirect him to something else to keep his mind busy.
About the care needs: Looking for an easy going caregiver. Someone who has worked with elderly adults who have anxiety, depression and are afraid of death. Someone who has their own transportation and a flexible schedule. Interest should be board/card games, communication, physical activities, loves animals, going out into the community to walk the park, bingo, mall, etc.
Services needed include: companionship.
