About who needs care: Right now, dad is in skilled nursing rehab. About to move on to next step. If that is home, we don't know yet what that will look like as he lives in a home with steps. He needs help right now with everything. But that could change to light cleanup, meal prep, taking meds, activities including light grocery shopping, occasional Dr appointments, companionship. About the care needs: Dad has a lot of humor, likes to talk about the old days. Is a flirt. He likes music and drawing. And maps. He has been working part time and driving at 89 yrs old! Until his recent decline. He is continuing to improve but will need to continue good nutrition and daily, light physical therapy. He has many friends. Son and daughter are very active in his life and care except both works. We are looking at options for help to keep dad in his home. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
