Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Bowling Green

About who needs care: My dad has Advanced Alzeimers, he is frail and in pain. My mother is his caregiver but needs some regular help to safe guard her health. In addition, if she has to visit the hospital, we are looking for overnight care of my dad. His hobbies are limited but he did like to read and clowning so discussing these things would be appropriate. His day is mostly sleep but usually he gets up around 10 to have brunch, naps in the afternoon, dinner, naps, watches tv with mom and to bed around 11. He gets up 1-3 times within the night to toilet. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver would be kind, patient and knowledgeable about caring and talking to individuals with Alzheimers. In addition, the ideal caregiver will be able to assist my dad with getting out of a chair and transfering to/from a vehicle if needed. Lastly, my father has some incontinence issues and would need be discreet, respectful and helpful in assisting him with these issues. Services needed include: companionship, and mobility assistance.
