About who needs care: My dad Needs assistance getting in and out of the shower. But he showers himself, Needs someone to prepare his breakfast and lunch. Take blood pressure, and assistance with putting and taking off Ted hose. Also, changing ace bandage and dressing on his one knee that has a chronic infection. However, he is on long term antibiotics and stable. Light house cleaning, laundry and may need transportation to drs appointments. I am looking for evening care too from another caregiver. No specialized skills required, but experienced caregivers are preferred. Even a nursing student might be good. Plus, we prefer someone who can cook, as in basic cooking, eggs, baked potatoes, burgers, etc. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
