Need caring, verbally engaging companion. Help with meds, light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, groceries, errands & transportation. Non-smoker. Joan is a bright, articulate 76 yo with moderate dementia who presents well but has significant short-term memory loss. Enjoys conversation about current events, politics, dogs & outdoors. Enjoys sitting on deck. Reads NY Times daily. Sleeps late! She does some tasks on her own, needs prompting. Ambulatory problems due to long ago accident. Uses crutches. Is growing weaker for carrying dinner plates, for example. 2 friends live upstairs & take care of some errands & appointments & other household tasks. The 3 people have 5 (small, elderly) dogs that are members of the household in unique ways. Caregiver must enjoy dogs! 3-year-old baby here at times whom Joan loves. A fun active house.
