About who needs care: Both of my parents have multiple chronic conditions, but enjoy active volunteerism when they are able. My mother might need assistance getting up and dressing. A typical day can include going to breakfast at a local restaurant, then to PT, to come home to rest, then dinner and then news/TV at night. Usually asleep by 9 or 10 p.m. About the care needs: Someone who follows through and is consistent, patient, experience with elder care or patience with dementia. There are cats and dogs in the house. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
