About who needs care: I am a senior citizen, a professional woman with an active life, who tripped on a poorly-demarcated slab of concrete in October 2023, breaking my fall with my face (!) and both hands. Resultantly, I have been dealing with wrist/hand tendonitis, shoulder and pelvic instability and I am currently under medical/chiropractic treatment. At this time, I need intermittent assistance - perhaps six hours a month - for tasks such as: grocery shopping (lifting things into the cart; onto the conveyer; into my car and into my home); helping with laundry; wet mopping floors; putting out trash; opening bottles, jars, etc. and other activities that I cannot do because of my injuries.
About the care needs: A kind, mellow, easy-going and adaptable person.
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
