About who needs care: Conditions include early dementia and mobility challenges from chronic edema. Hobbies include shopping when able to get out, watching movies, and reading the Bible. Day structure includes going out in the early mornings for shopping or appointments if necessary and home for the rest of the day. About the care needs: We are looking for a caregiver who is friendly and patient and has a listening ear plus someone who can help with my mother's mobility issues and personal hygiene (e. g. showering, washing hair, trimming nails). Someone who can do light cooking and housework and inspire my mother to eat healthier and exercise more. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
