I'll use this section to explain a little bit about the patient and job. Dorothy is a 95-year-old hospice care patient. She is still in relatively good condition for her age however her heart and lung health continue to decline which requires more hands on monitoring and care. I am the patients Grandson and main point of contact for setting up the job online, however most of your interaction will be with my mother (Dorothy's daughter) M. All care is done in Dorothy's room in the upstairs portion of the home. Myself or M are happy to answer questions as needed. Assistance with dressing or changing of clothes. Assistance with moving to use the restroom or changing if needed afterwards. Getting her drinks or snacks throughout the day. General conversation and monitoring as needed. Dorothy enjoys solitaire, puzzles, her daily TV programs and reading. When she was more mentally acute she always loved playing bridge as well. The caregiver will need to assist with dressing Dorothy, assist her with using the bathroom, assist with any small requests for a cup of tea or snack she may have. Otherwise it is mostly just maintenance and monitoring that is needed. Plenty of access to parking. Closest public transport is the bus stop. The family has 1 dog(a beagle) and 2 cats. All of which are friendly.
