About the job
About who needs care: Retired female professor just had brain surgery. Needs to use walker not for mobility but to ensure she doesn't hurt brain again. Hoping short term memory will return. May be showing early signs of dementia. Very active, outgoing, fun, loving, youthful person otherwise. Needs transportation for errands, groceries, appointments. Not allowed to drive for 6 months. Days and times are not set in stone but will need to be consistent week to week for her planning purposes. Also flexible on hours. Need is immediate. I have to leave on Thursday of this week. She is a delightful person and is my sister. About the care needs: Open to all types. Pat is exceptionally friendly. Must have car and drivers license. Pat loves to talk and read and was a big big walker (which she cant do for a wile. She is giving up her little dog this week, lost her husband 2 years ago, has two sons that cant be bothered with her so it is a tough time. This is a dream gig in that she is such a pleasure. Everyone loves her. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
