About who needs care: 89 yr old. Who has vascular dementia. He still knows family most of the time. Had a fall in Dec and has been in rehab for a few weeks. Has a feeding tube due to a broken pallete. Starting to eat pudding, applesauce, pureed food. About the care needs: Needs to be compassionate, trustworthy, have thick skin to deall with an older person with dementia. Be able to help him with all personal care. Wants to be part of the family, not just an employee. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
