About who needs care: 65-year-old female diagnosed with Primary Progressive Aphasia and dementia in 2023. Loves being active - gardening, walking her dog, playing tennis. She also likes to give back to her community - she was involved in Meals on Wheels until recently. About the care needs: She's very sweet but sometimes can get upset and frustrated by her speech limitations - especially if she can't find the words to express how she's feeling and/or isn't given the space to do so. She will need help preparing healthy, regular meals - she's a good eater but needs to be reminded to eat and drink more regularly to avoid fainting. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship.
