About who needs care: My mother understands and speaks little English. She is fluent in Haitian Creole. She has Dementia, weak legs, sleepless nights, diabetes, and does not like taking her medication. She loves playing her harmonica and watches a lot of musicals, Catholic masses. She listens to music that are upbeat during the day. About the care needs: Very patient, compassionate, and up for any challenge with the 85-year-old. Must speak Haitian Creole or French. If not, she understands some English. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
