Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Staten Island

About who needs care: Sweet woman who desperately does not want to live in a nursing home! Lives alone, was a hoarder but after a recent stay at a rehab center, we cleaned out her entire apartment. She is an active 83, goes out every day to get the paper, groceries, etc. She has dementia and can be confused, no formal diagnosis. First languages are French and German. She loves antiques and flea markets and reading about history. She generally takes it easy in the morning, showers, dresses and goes out in the afternoon a bit. About the care needs: Strong preference for a woman, someone friendly and pleasant who doesn't mind a little bit of housekeeping to help her keep things in order. Huge benefit if they speak french or german, but not necessary. I think we probably only need a few hours a day, 4-7 days a week. Might need help with laundry (can provide a laundry card for the laundry in her building!). Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
