About who needs care: 100% fully cognizant and aware; great difficulty with mobility in and out of a bed to a wheelchair, getting up from the wheelchair can do some light walking with assistance; caregiver should be physically strong and capable to assist with mobility difficulties. Currently in a diaper, so cleaning and changing is essential. Hobbies include watching movies; used to include visiting family but mobility has affected that. Ideally, my mom would wake up around 10-11 a.m. as she is not an early riser, have breakfast and other meals made accordingly throughout the day (she orders in a good amount and orders other food meals through online shopping; and have companionship during the day/evening. About the care needs: Someone who has a good sense of humor and is kind but also motivating for my mom to move as much as she can (e. g. from the bed to her recliner and some walking for exercise in the house). We need someone to sort her medications daily and nightly. My mom has one dog so no pet allergies. Preferable if someone drives to assist with going to doctor appointments. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
