About who needs care: My Mother lives with my Father. He has been her primary caregiver but as he gets older it's becoming increasingly difficult for him to care for her by himself. She has trouble doing basic daily tasks, and falls down on nearly a weekly basis. She has difficulty get into and out of cars, and going out of the house is a challenge. She uses a walker to get around. She is 78 years old. About the care needs: My Mother does suffer from some mental illness. She has a tendency to get depressed, deals with memory loss, and feeling sorry for herself. She would need someone with patience, kindness, yet someone that can help motivate her. Someone that is physically up for the challenge to give her assistance. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
