About the job
About who needs care: My Dad is 90 and my Mom is 84. My Dad has had a series of mini strokes this last year which have impaired his mobility. My Mom early dementia and is 84. They don't want to leave their house. My Dad still drives but we try to limit that to a min. Mom still drives but that is rare as well. We want someone who can help with cleaning, cooking, laundry, driving and help them around the house. Maybe help my Dad with some exercises to improve mobility. They agreed to a couple of times a week to start. I suspect if they like the person we might be able to increase. About the care needs: This is not a must. My Mom likes plants and would enjoy someone who does. Someone who is a solid cook but is prepared to make healthier meals is a preference Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
